It's been confirmed that all of Leitrim County Council's clothes banks are to remain closed until further notice.
The banks were removed in January after the contractor responsible for managing them pulled out and took all textile units with them.
Leitrim County Council has since attempted to find a replacement through a public tender process.
Funding was announced for the sector in August, however, the local authority found it to be minuscule compared to its running costs which are believed to be between 70 and 80 thousand euro per annum.
