State may purchase Dublin hotel to help with the migrant accommodation crisis

The State could buy Dublin's Citywest hotel to help cope with the migrant accommodation crisis.

The €100-million euro deal is believed to be one of a number of planned hotel purchases as part of a new integration strategy, according to reports in today's Business Post.

The Dublin hotel is currently leased by the State until May 2025.
