The Mental Health Commission raised concerns about a 'further decline' in the standard of the Sligo-Leitrim unit.

The €14 million facility was opened in 2020 to replace the 'outdated' St Columba's.
A four-day inspection last August found its compliance rate had dropped by 30 per cent in just two years.
Sligo-Leitrim TD Martin Kenny says there aren't enough beds available at the unit:
