The Shannonside region could be set for a spell of unsettled weather conditions in the days ahead. Last week, counties Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon each temperatures hit the high teens.
However, in the next few days, rain, sleet and snow may even fall. Ailis Hankinson, operational meteorologist at Met Éireann has the outlook:
