A seminar discussing the risk of domestic homicide in rural Ireland is starting in Longford this morning.
The two-day training conference has been organised by Longford Women's Link and other agencies.
It will feature a number of guest speakers including high-ranking members of An Garda Síochána.
It's taking place in the Longford Arms Hotel and will also hear from leading academics, including Professor Jane Monckton Smith.
