A Roscommon resident is one of three cyclists making their way to Longford this evening as part of a suicide awareness fundraiser.
Rooskey's Lorraine McGlynn was due to be part of the annual Cycle Against Suicide event, which had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
She together with two other cyclists, Brian Kerr and Stephan Mullally, however are cycling the 660-kilometer route this week to raise funds for the charity.
They arriving into Longford this evening and will be leaving for Cavan tomorrow morning and returning to Dublin on Thursday, for World Suicide Prevention Day.
