The manager of Roscommon University hospital is urging anyone with Covid symptoms not attend their endoscopy appointments.
This week the hospital, along with several other hospitals across the region, cancelled clinics and non urgent procedures as a result of the pandemic.
Patients are being notified directly of an changes - but the hospital's endoscopy services are continuing and all patients can expect a text message reminder of their appointments.

However, Mary Garvey is asking anyone who does not feel well to let the hospital know in advance due to the current Covid risk:
