A Roscommon town painter and decorator has thanked the people of the town and beyond for their support following a fire in his house.
On October 25th, a fire broke out at the home of Tom known as T Hill, while he was asleep, and due to the actions of a neighbour he was taken from the house.
A local committee was formed renovate the house with efforts now to finish tiling and painting well in time so that he can return home before Christmas, with locals, businesses people and the public making donations for the renovations

'T' who is very well known throughout the town and spends much of his time visiting older people says he is blessed with great friends and neighbours.
