Roscommon sees second highest spending increase in February

Roscommon saw the second highest increase in spending last month according to a new report by AIB.

The latest Spend Trend report shows spending in pubs and restaurants increased in February as people said good bye to Dry January.

The biggest increase in overall spending month-on-month was seen in Cavan at 11% followed by Roscommon at 10%.

Head of Consumer Banking at AIB Adrian Moynihan, says there was a 5% increase in card spending nationally.
