A Roscommon native has been forced to evacuate from his home in California as a result of recent devastating wildfires.
Martin Nolan is originally from Kiltoom but is living in Santa Monica in the US.
The Tánaiste said earlier this week that consular assistance is being provided for a number of Irish citizens who've been affected however many residents are still banned from returning to their damaged homes.
