A local motorist is facing a court summons after Roscommon Gardaí stopped them for a number of traffic offences.
Roscommon/Longford Roads Policing Unit stopped a car this week after it was identified as having no insurance, NCT or tax.
On examination it was found that the driver of the vehicle was also an unaccompanied learner driver who had no L plate displayed.

The car was seized and the motorist will face court for the traffic offences.
Garda are warning the public to drive with care over the weekend, with high levels of traffic expected on local roads due to the good weather.
