Roscommon County Museum is home to a very unique rock 'n' roll post box. The old An Post box is one of only six in the country - and was once struck by a vehicle connected to Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott. That's according to museum volunteer Marian Harlow, who says An Post still carrying out checks on it.
The ornate green box was once situated in Roscommon town but now takes pride of place in the museum. Marian explains how it was rescued following a collision with visiting rockers:
