Roscommon councillors seek changes to traffic safety scheme in Boyle
A former Boyle councillor says she's in favour of re-establishing town councils.

Proposed works include a new one-way system on the slip road connecting the Railway Station to Elphin Street.

Councillors are seeking changes to a proposed new traffic safety scheme for a town in Roscommon. Councillors had approved the new traffic layout in Boyle but sought alterations to the plan including provision for disabled parking and deliveries to local businesses.

Proposed works include a new one-way system on the slip road connecting the Railway Station to Elphin Street. The new scheme would also comprise of the re-alignment of the junction between the L50571 and the N61. A pedestrian crossing will also be installed on the N61 at Elphin Street, as well as pedestrian crossings at both ends of Main Street.
