Roscommon County Council is expected to officially confirm this afternoon they don't support plans for a big wind farm.
Eleven turbines, measuring 185 metres tall, are planned for the Frenchpark and Ballinagare area.
This planned wind farm is called the Carrigeen Renewable Energy Development.
An Coimisiun Pleanála will decide whether to give it planning permission, but the council has been asked for their view.
Council management don't support it - fearing it could affect the Rathcroghan Archaeological Complex in Tulsk.
At today's council meeting, councillors will be asked to back the chief executive's report on the proposal.
If they do, it will be sent to An Coimisiún Pleanála, as representing their official response.
