Residents establish petition for extra buses in Roscommon

Some customers are being left stranded at stops further along the route.

Commuters using the TFI Local Link 570 service in Roscommon have complained about capacity issues.
The service which covers 7 stops from north to central Roscommon town is regularly full by the time it reaches the county town.
It means some customers are being left stranded at stops further along the route.
Chloe Tiernan is a resident of Elphin, she says a petition has been established calling on Transport For Ireland to add extra buses.
Speaking on Let's Talk today, Chloe said the issue is causing headaches for those who rely on public transport.

And Shannonside News reached out to TFI Local Link for a response to customer complaints.
Manager of Local Link Westmeath Roscommon and Longford Damien O'Neill said the operator is doing all it can to rectify the issue:
