A total of 96 per cent of rate-payers in Roscommon are expected to have no increase in their commercial rates next year.
It's after the council signed off on a Small Business Waiver Support Scheme yesterday.
It'll protect businesses whose rates are less than €20,000 - and only 85 customers have bills above that.

The only way rates for small businesses would increase next year is if the council increased them by over 5 per cent for the larger group.
