A rally is taking place later today in Longford in solidarity with the people of Gaza.
The protest will take place at the Longford Market Square from 1:30 pm this afternoon.
According to the organisers, the aim of the planned rally is to advocate for the end of the siege of Gaza.

The protest is one of many occurring around the country this weekend.
The rallies have been arranged by Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign and pro-Palestine support associations.
