Those looking to take part in water-based activities in the Shannonside region are being reminded to take care and prioritise safety.

2025 has seen a 10 per cent increase in drownings so far this year, compared to the same period last year.

With the temperatures increasing, the RNLI are asking people to remain vigilant and plan their activities accordingly.
