Public urged to have their say in new Roscommon Heritage Plan

Members of the public are now invited to have their say in the formation of the next plan for 2024 to 2028.

The process of creating a new Heritage Plan for County Roscommon has now commenced.

The plan will be prepared by County Roscommon Heritage Forum, facilitated by Roscommon County Council Heritage Office. Members of the public are now invited to have their say in the formation of the next plan for 2024 to 2028. The forum is a partnership between local Government, State agencies and other groups as well as the community and voluntary sector. All those with an active interest in or responsibility for the county's heritage are invited to take part and offer their views.

Speaking to Shannonside News, Heritage Officer Nollaig Feeney said the online consultation would help shape the council's strategic plan.
