Protests have been taking place at various locations across the Shannonside region over rising fuel prices. Tractors, buses, lorries, trucks and cars are also arriving in Dublin this afternoon as part of the protest.
Demonstrators travelled along the M1, M7, N2, N3, N4 and N11 at slow speeds this morning, causing delays for road users. There was also a demonstration in Tarmonbarry today. Local Councillor Tom Crosby was one of those who took part in the protest:
