A proposal to change the times of roadworks in Strokestown, to address traffic delays, has been rejected.
An €8 million upgrade of the town is well under way - with the roundabout currently being reduced in size.
Local man Rory Doyle says this is causing significant traffic problems.
He called on the council to address the issue - but says it's been turned down:
