The community playground in Strokestown has reopened - after shutting down nearly a year and a half ago due to vandalism. Several thousand euro worth of damage was caused following the incident in April 2024.
However, after multiple fundraisers, the playground reopened earlier this week. Secretary of the organising committee, Rory Doyle, says it's great news:
