Planning permission is being sought for the construction of a viewing platform in Longford.
Longford County Council are seeking to build the 3 by 7.5m platform adjacent to the River Inny in Abbeyshrule Village
The proposed development will have a view of the Whitworth Aqueduct

The project also includes the cleaning of the front and back face of the aqueduct and all ancillary site works.
Submissisions in respect of the development must be made by Friday the 29th of September
