Plans for a much-anticipated Aldi supermarket in Boyle have been hit by a delay.
The German company wants to build the store in St Patrick Street, and there would be 96 car-parking spaces.
There have been some objections to the planning application, which Roscommon County Council was due to decide on today.

But the council has instead sought further information from Aldi.
A decision will not now be made until the German company has provided the local authority with this information.
