Plans have been lodged for the construction of a telecommunications mast near Athlone.
Vantage Towers Ltd is seeking the construction of the communication infrastructure at Cloghanboy.
Plans include an 18 metre high monopole structure holding antennae, dishes and associated telecommunications equipment.

The development would be enclosed in a security fence on site.
Westmeath County Council will decide on the issue in July.
