Planning permission is being sought for a new hotel development in Athlone. Avenir Assets Management DAC are seeking to construct a 10 storey hotel overlooking the Ballymahon road.
The hotel would consist of 192 bedrooms with a lounge, bar, restaurant, gym and spa and conference room facilities also proposed in the application. Planning permission is sought for a 5-year period. Westmeath County Planners are due to decide on the application at the end of July.
