Planning permission for a state of the art athletic field in Roscommon is being sought from local planners.
The Lisnamult Community Enterprise CLG is seeking to build the facility outside of Roscommon Town.
The plans call for an outdoor 400 metre running track, fully lit by 10 floodlights along the perimeter.

Also included in the application is an entrance roadway, car parking and all associated site works.
County planners will the decide on the plans in October.
