The go ahead has been given for the construction of 14 new homes in County Longford.
Applicant Frank McKenna has been granted conditional planning permission for the development of the properties at the existing St Patrick's Court residential housing estate at Shanmullagh, Ballinamuck.
The development will include six three-bedroomed, two-storey semi-detached homes, and eight two-bedroomed, two-storey terraced type homes in the form of two blocks of four units.

The works include the extension of the current access road, green open space, boundary fences and walls, and proposed connection to existing on-site services.
Longford County Council gave the green light for the development subject to 18 conditions.
