A planning application has been resubmitted for a new running track in Co. Roscommon. Lisnamult Community Enterprise had originally submitted a planning application but withdrew it last month. The proposed development includes an athletic field incorporating the eight-lane running track with perimeter fence, six 18-metre high floodlights and four 15-metre floodlights at Lisnamult.
The application also includes an entrance roadway with street lighting and car parking. Roscommon County Planners are due to decide on the application on the 3rd of September.
