The people of Longford are being urged to support the local Team Hope Shoebox Appeal this year.
An information meeting will take place at Abbeycartron Clubhouse on the Battery Road in the town tomorrow evening.
Team Hope volunteers send thousands of shoeboxes containing gifts to disadvantaged children around the world.
The Longford branch is currently looking for a new team leader and other members.
