People in Leitrim are being urged to attend local blood clinics

The Irish Blood Transfusion service is appealing to people in Leitrim to attend their local pop-up clinic next week.

Two blood donation clinics will take place in Carrick-on-Shannon on Tuesday May 2nd and Wednesday May 3rd.

The pop-up centre will be held at the Bush Hotel between 3:45pm and 8pm on both days.

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service say anyone wishing to register their interest can do so at giveblood.ie or by phoning 1800 731 137
