The CEO of the HSE has confirmed he will step down in October - 2 months earlier than planned.
Paul Reid announced in June that he would be leaving his role in December.
He's tweeted this morning to confirm he will step down on October 3rd and then take annual leave until the end of his notice period.

Following earlier notification at end June 2022, I've advised staff in @HSELive that I will be stepping down as CEO on October 3rd. I'll then take up a period of annual leave. I'll truly miss leading the most committed workforce in the country in some of the toughest of times.
