A local hospital is the third busiest in the country as overcrowding continues nationally.
That's according to the latest figures released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
Sligo University Hospital have 59 admitted patients waiting on beds with only University Hospital Limerick and University Hospital Galway having more patients on trolleys.
Portiuncula Hospital are down from yesterday with 20 patients on trolleys, while Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar have 16.
The INMO says of the total number of people waiting for beds, 434 are in emergency departments, while 285 are in wards elsewhere.
