That's part of an overall figure nationally of €17 million which is 140 per cent increase on 2021's figures.
News of the rise in income comes despite a commitment in the Programme for Government to "explore further ways" to reduce public hospital car parking fees.
More than a year later, most hospitals are charging a maximum daily rate of €10.
Sligo University Hospital received €556,464 in charges last year, a near 63 per cent increase on 2024.
Portiuncula has recorded a reduction in its income, dropping to €94,402.
Figures also dropped at Mullingar to €302,104.
Cork University Hospital recorded the highest income nationally at over €2.7 million with maximum daily rates there costing €15 per day.
