Over €3.4 million has been allocated to water infrastructure projects across Roscommon and Leitrim.
The funding has been announced today by the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, James Browne.
The allocation comes under the multi-annual Rural Water Programme, and provides capital investment to improve water services in rural areas.
Just over €2.9 million has been secured for 19 projects in Co. Roscommon, while €509,000 was earmarked for 9 in Co. Leitrim.
