The Seanad has heard that there has been over 60 water outages in Cloonfad over the past 18 months.
Fine Gael Senator Gareth Scahill made the revelation during a debate on Infrastructure with Minister Jack Chambers.
Local businesses have previously raised concerns regarding the outages.
