Over 60 people waiting on trolleys at local hospitals today

Over 60 people are waiting on trolleys at hospitals across the Shannonside region today. That's according to the latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

41 people were waiting for a bed at Sligo University Hospital as of this morning. There were 12 waiting on trolleys at Portiuncula University Hospital in Ballinasloe whilst 10 patients were also waiting for a bed at the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar.
