Over 500 people have signed a petition calling for the reintroduction of the catering trolley on the Sligo to Dublin train service. The catering service hasn't been available on the busy route since the Covid pandemic.
Irish Rail has reintroduced the catering trolley on some services, like Dublin to Cork, but it still hasn't returned on many local routes. Labour Senator Nessa Cosgrove says it's badly needed on the Sligo to Dublin line:
