Over 40 waiting at local hospitals

41 patients were waiting for a bed at hospitals in the Shannnonside Northernside region this morning.

The latest trolley watch figures show that there were eight waiting at Cavan General Hospital.

While in the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar, there were four.

Elsewhere, there were 40 waiting for a bed at Sligo University Hospital. Nationally, University Hospital Limerick recorded the highest amount on trolleys with 57.
