There were over 40 patients waiting for a bed at hospitals serving the Shannonside region this morning.
34 patients were waiting at Sligo University Hospital.

Both Portinucula University Hospital and the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar had 4 patients
Nationally, University Hospital Limerick continues to be the country's most overcrowded with 78 patients recorded.
