Over 100,000 people to attend Knock Novena this month

Up to 130,000 people will attend the National Novena to Our Lady of Knock, which starts today.

The major annual event was first held in 1977, and events are being held every day until tomorrow week.

Speakers include several priests, such as Fr Richard Gibbons and Fr Richard Leonard, as well as significant involvement from the laity.

Fr Gibbons, the parish priest of Knock, says the number of people coming to the shrine remains high.
