A new outdoor community amphitheatre for Lanesboro has received planning permission.
An Coimisiúin Pleanála has given the green light to the 500-seater project put forward by Longford County Council.
The music and entertainment venue is set to be located at the former council depot at Commons North Quarry in Lanesboro.

The development will now be put forward for EU Just Transition Funding.
