The organisers of the Lough Ree International Pike Festival & World Cup are appealing for information after a boat was taken overnight. In a post on social media today, the organisers say a boat, trailer and engine was taken from a hotel car park in Athlone last night.
Anyone with any information regarding the boat is asked to contact their local Garda Station.
