Investigations are ongoing.

Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and Revenue Customs Service with asssistance from Roscommon Divisional Drugs Unit and the Tallaght District Drugs Unit were involved in a joint operation in Dublin and Roscommon

The Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Unit is tasked with disrupting, dismantling and prosecuting those involved in crimes such as drug trafficking, armed robbery and firearm offenses.

Gardaí have warned that even if money mules are not involved in the crimes which generate the money, they are acting illegally by laundering the proceeds of crime.

Two females aged in their 40s and 30s have been arrested.
