Only one dentist in Co Leitrim is treating patients with medical cards - as a local TD claims the sector is in turmoil.
The Western Regional Health Forum has been told Dr Noel Sweeney in Carrick-on-Shannon is the only dentist signed up to the Dental Treatment Services Scheme.
The scheme treats people on low incomes for examinations, fillings, cleanings and tooth extractions.
