Nine locals included on tax defaulters list

9 people in the Shannonside region have been included on the latest Tax Defaulters list.

The fines, which total 15-thousand euro were given out for a range of offences.

6 fines of €1250 were issued in Roscommon and Athlone for failure to lodge Income Tax returns.

While 3 fines of €2500 were also issued in Roscommon for Misuse of Marked Mineral Oil.
