New timetable changes sees local bus stops cut

The provider confirmed earlier this week that "low demand stops" will no longer be served "to improve journey times."

Disappointment has been expressed locally after it emerged that two stops have been removed from Bus Éireann's Expressway service from Sligo to Dublin Airport.

The provider confirmed earlier this week that "low demand stops" such as Dromod and Roosky will no longer be served "to improve journey times." from August 24th.

Other changes announced by Bus Éireann include a service departing Sligo at 6am daily and 8am from Sligo and 11pm Dublin now operating 7 days a week to satisfy demand.
