The new operator of the Ballaghaderreen Swimming Pool says they are looking forward to re-opening the facility in the west Roscommon town. The leisure centre in the Abbeyfield Hotel refugee centre was on the brink of reopening earlier this year, however a deal collapsed with the owners.
It's now been confirmed that Splash Swim Schools Ireland will take over the running of the pool. CEO Bríd Graham says the pool is now preparing to re-open on the 28th of April:
