The new Cathaoirleach of Longford County Council says he wants the county to be portrayed in a positive light. Fine Gael's Gerry Hagan was elected as the first citizen of Longford at last week's Council AGM.
There's currently a social media campaign underway, promoting good news stories in the county. Cllr Hagan says he hopes to see more positivity about Longford Town during his term as Cathaoirleach:
