A 26-bed extension to Sligo University Hospital, costing over 2.5 million euro, has officially opened.
It's a medical off-site ward and is located at St John's Community Hospital in Sligo town.
The HSE says it will ease pressure on the Emergency Department and other sections of Sligo University Hospital.
